Roundnet is a ball game that was created in 1989 and is inspired by elements of volleyball. The game started gaining popularity again in 2008 after Spikeball Inc. started manufacturing equipment again. Because of that reason roundnet is often mistakenly known as spikeball. As of this day there are people practicing roundnet all over the world and the International Roundnet Federation has the goal of thriving roundnet to the Olympic Games. In Estonia, there are currently two active clubs: Tartu Roundnet Club and Roundnet Tallinn.

The beauty of roundnet is the simplicity to practice the game. All the equipment you need fits into a backpack and you do not need any judges to play the game. Additionally it is very easy to change the game according to player levels.
